Stylfile nipper clipper and s-file baby - a review

Most of you will have heard of a tv series called The Apprentice, where Lord Alan Sugar invites 12 contestants to battle it out in the worlds toughest job interview to become his apprentice. In 2011 the format changed to the winner getting a £250,000 investment in their company, effectively becoming Lord Sugar's business partner.
The 1st winner of this new format was Inventor Tom Pellereau who invented the stylfile a s shaped nail file, now after becoming a father for the 1st time Tom has invented The Nipper Clipper .

As the mum too 2 very wriggly boys and a very squirmy 9 month old, when I was asked if I'd like to review The nipper clipper and told that it would make trimming the tiny 3's nails easier I immediately said yes! I am always willing to try anything that might make being a mummy slightly easier (well aren't we all if we're honest!)

When the nipper clipper arrived the 1st thing that struck me was the bright packaging, I think it would really appeal to parents and fit in on any shops baby isle.

I tasked my husband with trailing the nipper clipper, as I always get him to do the kids nails. He was very impressed with see through hole on the top of the clipper as it meant he could see that it was just nail and no skin he was clipping. The nipper clipper uses a sissor action rather than a meet in the middle clipper action, this made it easier to safely clip LA's nails.
As well as the nipper clipper you also get the baby s-file which helps file a children's nails easier and more naturally due to its unique s shape.
Stylfile as also teamed up with a children's app developer to create a distraction app which aims to keep babies and toddlers still while you clip their nails. My boys loved the Timmy tickle baby, which has 3 different controls auto, sound and voice controls.

The nipper clipper made trimming the tiny 3's nails so much easier than it normally is, and with a RRP of £9.99 it is a lot more expensive than most other baby nail clippers on the market but personally I think that it is worth every penny, especially the unique spy hole to see what you're cutting as I've lost count of how many times I've nipped the kids skin with normal ones.

We were provided this nipper clipper and s-file set free of charge for the purposes of this review all opinions are honest, unbiased and either mine or Mr M&TTT's.

Sunday soapbox - no notice

This half term at nursery JR has been learning lots about London including names of famous landmarks, all about Her Majesty The Queen, how to bow and various nursery rhymes and songs. This is really lovely and you're probably wondering why this is the subject of a Sunday soapbox!
Well her goes, on Tuesday this week JR brought home a very nice invitation to go to see him and his classmates do a presentation all about what they have been learning.
You are probably still thinking aww how sweet, and yes it is incredibly sweet. However here's the problem they sent the invites home on Tuesday for a performance on Thursday morning, and they had to be dressed in Red,White & Blue. Each child had to write the invite to a parent or guardian of their choice JR chose Daddy.
Again this is fine however Daddy works full time and is usually able with some planning to get time off, TWO days NOTICE is not enough time for planning of days off for working parents or to organise Union Flag coloured clothes in the end he went in a red Mr Bump t-shirt and daddy missed out watching his really nice and lovely London Showcase! PLEASE teachers more than 2 days notice would be nice next time!
